At present,due to trade wars,structural deleveraging and strict supervision,credit risk continues to rise,the growth rate of China's banking industry slows down from the year before,the process of interest rate marketization continues to advance,and the profit margin of banks is further reduced.According to the guiding spirit of the Central Economic Working Conference at the end of 2018,small and medium-sized banks are required to continue to break away from fragmentation,pay more attention to traditional credit business and strengthen support to the real economy.Therefore,the credit risk control of small and medium-sized banks will face more severe challenges.Around the world,whether banks have clear objectives,clear structure,complete functions and powerful risk management system has become an important symbol of the modernization of bank management.Through advanced means such as personnel training and information system upgrading,banks in developed countries strive to build a complete,efficient risk management framework that meets international standards.On the one hand,it meets the requirements of internal management and external supervision of banks.on the other hand,it strengthens the core competitiveness of banks.Attract more high-quality customers and improve business performance.With the full opening of China's financial industry approaching,banks are required to abandon the extensive management model based on operation process and index assessment,and introduce scientific measurement methods to manage risks comprehensively and accurately.Based on COSO comprehensive risk management theory,this paper collects the characteristics of M Bank's credit risk management business.This paper analyses the current situation of M Bank's risk control from eight aspects:internal environment,goal-setting,event identification,risk assessment,risk response,control activities,information and communication,and supervision.This paper points out the problems existing in the credit risk control of M Bank,and finally puts forward the countermeasures to improve the credit risk control of M Bank.
