In recent years, the service industry has played a more and more significant role in promoting China's economic growth. Its share in GDP has been leading the three major industries for five consecutive years. At the same time, consumers' individualized needs and specialization tendency put forward higher requirements for service-oriented enterprises. How to obtain sustainable competitive advantages and grasp core competitiveness of service-oriented enterprises has become the focus of academic attention. As the most closely contacted group with customers, service employees are most able to perceive the changes of customers' goals and expectations.Their innovative behavior is not only the most suitable for customers' needs, but also one of the important factors for service-oriented enterprises to gain unique competitive advantages.Studies have shown that the stimulation of employees' innovative behavior depends largely on the type of leader.Responsible leadership attaches great importance to corporate image and the characteristics and behavior of establishing stakeholder networks, which is in line with the needs of service-oriented enterprises to establish a good reputation, advocate service innovation and customer demand-oriented.Through reviewing the relevant literature,it is found that there are few studies on responsibility-based innovation behavior of employees in service-oriented enterprises. Therefore, from the perspective of leadership, this study explores the impact of responsible leadership on employees' innovative behavior in service-oriented enterprises. At the same time, two variables, organizational identity and positive emotions, are introduced to further explain the impact mechanism of responsible leadership on employees' innovative behavior in service-oriented enterprises. And through the variable of employee power distance,we discuss the influence boundary of responsible leadership.Based on social learning theory, social exchange theory, social identity theory and emotional expansion-construction theory, this study constructs structural equation model to explore the influence mechanism of responsible leadership on employees' innovative behavior in service-oriented enterprises.Through questionnaire survey,332 employees and their leaders of 18 service-oriented enterprises in Shandong Province were surveyed. The sample data were analyzed by SPSS19.0 and Amos 21.0to verify the above hypothesis. The results show that:(1)responsible leadership has apositive impact on the innovative behavior of service enterprises.(2)Organizational identity plays a part of intermediary role between responsible leadership and innovative behavior of employees in service-oriented enterprises.(3)Positive emotions play a part of intermediary role between responsible leadership and innovative behavior of employees in service-oriented enterprises.(4)Power Distance Negatively Regulates Responsible Leadership's Positive Prediction of Employees' Innovative Behavior in Service-oriented Enterprises. This study enriches the localization of the theory of responsible leadership, enriches the relevant research on the antecedents of employees' innovative behavior, and further expands the research field of the effect of responsible leadership on effectiveness. The introduction of organizational identity and positive emotions as mediating variables effectively enriches the research on mediating mechanism of positive emotions from the perspective of social identity and emotional expansion-construction,and takes power distance as a moderating variable to clarify the boundaries of the role of responsible leadership. For service-oriented enterprises, the establishment of a code of conduct for employee innovation and the discovery of the influence of leadership type on employee innovation behavior can make more purposeful changes to the enterprise to enhance employee innovation ability and willingness,so as to meet the ever-changing needs of customers and seize the lead in the industry competition.
