With the vigorous development and application of information technology,we are gradually in an era of information explosion, information is changing faster and faster, and information has become an important resource in our life.It can be said, who Whoever has the valuable information has the initiative. However,in rural areas, due to imperfect infrastructure construction, there has been a certain digital divide between urban and rural areas for a long time.Over time, the low efficiency of information dissemination and the low quality of content have caused certain incomes for rural residents, influences. Not only that, the gap in information reception capacity between urban and rural areas is also one of the reasons for the excessive income gap between urban and rural residents. However,in recent years, the evolution of mobile phone upgrades and dissemination functions, especially the rapid development of current smart phones, has gradually changed people's lifestyle and way of thinking. As a small-sized,easy-to-carry and disseminate information dissemination tool, smart phones can break the digital divide between urban and rural areas, thereby improving farmers' productivity, improving economic development in rural areas, improving farmers' living environment, and ultimately improving The income of farmers is narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas.Increasing farmers' incomes and narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas is also conducive to the realization of rural revitalization,in line with the inherent requirements of the central government for precise poverty alleviation. Therefore, this paper collects relevant literature materials, based on the CFPS family tracking database and related theoretical analysis, and builds an econometric model to study the impact of residents in rural areas of China on their income through the use of smart phones, specifically to what type of mobile phone is used. What is the impact of income, and finally based on the results of the regression model to draw conclusions. At the end of the paper, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Through the combing of the mobile communication stage theory,it is found that the mobile communication function at the current stage has become increasingly mature, from the most primitive simple interpersonal communication to the mass communication and mass communication. The stage of mutual crossing. In today's information explosion, the mass communication and mass communication of smart phones are conducive to rural residents to strengthen information exchange with the outside world, breaking the digital divide between urban and rural areas, thereby reducing the difficulty of increasing farmers1 income due to information poverty.Increase the income of rural residents.(2)Through the analysis of the current situation of smartphones and farmers' income in rural areas in recent years,it can be found that the number of smartphones in rural areas has been growing steadily so far,but there is a gap in the number of mobile Internet users between urban and rural areas. This shows that there is still a certain gap between the infrastructure construction in rural areas and urban areas. At the same time, the gap between urban and rural areas indicates that the use of smart phones in rural areas has great development space and broad market prospects. As for the income status of rural residents, the income of rural residents has been growing steadily in recent years, and the ratio of disposable income between urban and rural residents is also falling. However, the Gini coefficient is still above the warning line, indicating that urban and rural residents The income gap between the two is still very large, which deserves the attention of relevant departments. In addition,in the income structure of rural residents, the rural residents'operating income and wage income account for a considerable proportion, indicating that for rural residents, operating income and wage income are the main source of farmers' income, which increases farmers'income.Provide ideas.(3)Finally,through the analysis of the empirical part, the model regression results show that for rural residents who do not use smart phones, the use of smart phones can have a significant positive impact on farmers' income, whether it is for farmers, operating income and wages. In terms of income or other income, the impact is very significant, which is consistent with the previous explanation of the effect of using smartphones on farmers' income.
