Since the 1990 s,with the rise of Huawei,ZTE,FiberHome and other domestic communication equipment suppliers,China's communication industry has achieved considerable development.Supported by IC,electronic components and various functional modules,communication equipment manufacturers have formed an integrated upstream and downstream industrial system [1].Communication industry as a high-tech industry,product innovation is an important basis for enterprise development.Sustainable development of enterprises not only requires advanced management level,but also needs to make strategic planning of product innovation development in the era of rapid technological change.However,many communication equipment suppliers are not clear about product innovation strategy,lack of innovation ability and insufficient investment in research and development.As a result,its products lag behind,performance and profit growth slow,affecting the sustainable development of the enterprise.Concept based on the related literature at home and abroad and the theory on the basis of the SS company and product research and development present situation,it is concluded that the following problems in the SS company in product innovation,research and development direction of the positioning is not clear,the business process was complicated,risk control problems,product innovation strategy is not rigorous,product innovation strategy implementation,coordination of the fuzzy control does not reach the designated position and time node.These problems seriously affect the sustainable development of enterprises.Market demand,market competition and technology development determine the necessity of product innovation of SS company.Through the PEST analysis of SS company's product innovation strategy macro environment,it is concluded that the macro environment creates opportunities for SS company's development,but also brings some threats.In addition,industrial environmental factors such as peer competition,potential competitors,potential substitutes,bargaining power of suppliers and bargaining power of buyers also have an impact on product innovation.Then,through SWOT analysis tool,the internal advantages,disadvantages,external opportunities and threats of SS company in product innovation are analyzed and summarized.In the formulation and implementation guarantee of SS company's product innovation strategy,this paper summarizes the following principles for the formulation of SS company's product innovation strategy: the innovation goal should reflect the innovation opportunity,the innovation goal should meet the internal and external demands of the market,the innovation goal should stabilize the vital interests of key stakeholders,and balance the benefits and risks of research and development.SS company's product innovation strategy has three choices: leading,following and imitating.Finally,the overall strategic goal of SS company is concluded as follows: take the Internet of things and 5G as the innovation direction and formulate specific product innovation plans.SS company should establish five implementation guarantees: establish technology innovation mechanism,actively carry out research and development activities,control research and development risks,enhance the attention of senior executives and shape innovative enterprise culture.
