In recent years,FMCG B2B e-commerce has gradually penetrated into every aspect of people's lives. At the same time, more and more FMCG companies have begun to deepen the warehouse supply logistics supply system. As important parts of the FMCG e-commerce(middle supply chain),inventory management is a key strategy to promote coordinated supply chain operations and achieve competitive advantage. As a typical B2B e-commerce enterprise,Z company aims to quickly respond to customer needs, improve service quality, and reduce inventory costs,by constructing a "central warehouse+branch warehouse" logistics network structure. However, central and branch-warehouse logistics network is not comprehensive, inventory allocation strategy of different commodity has not considered the impact of procurement mode, which caused the problem of high inventory cost and low efficiency. Therefore, the optimization research can not only enrich procurement and inventory management theory, but also have great significance for reducing the logistics cost and expanding the profit space. In view of this, this paper studies inventory allocation problem under different procurement modes based on central and branch-warehouse structure in Z company.Firstly, the relevant literatures and theories are summarized and combed, and inventory management situation and problems in Z company are analyzed.Secondly, combined with relevant theories and actual conditions, the design of inventory allocation scheme considering characteristics of commodity classification under different procurement modes is proposed. The multi-criteria ABC classification of commodities based on the entropy method and cluster analysis was carried out,and the commodity inventory allocation scheme under different procurement modes was proposed by using the matrix analysis diagram,A commodity-centralized inventory allocation strategy under centralized procurement mode was obtained,B commodity-decentralized inventory allocation strategy under centralized procurement mode was obtained, and C commodity-decentralized inventory allocation strategy decentralized procurement mode was obtained. On this basis, considering the factors such as quantity discount and distribution cost, the inventory allocation strategy model under different procurement modes are constructed. Finally, the feasibility and practicability of inventory allocation scheme and strategy model under different procurement modes are verified by case analysis. The research proves that A commodity with large demand, large demand fluctuation and short shelf life should adopt centralized inventory allocation strategy under centralized procurement mode,C commodity with small demand and low demand fluctuation and long shelf life should adopt decentralized inventory allocation strategy decentralized procurement mode, and decentralized inventory allocation strategy under centralized procurement mode can be adopted for the B commodities with non-extreme characteristics. The study also found that strategies option does not only depend on the demand characteristics, but also the cost parameter of central and branch-warehouse structure has a great influence on the choice of strategy.Through the above research,it solves the problem that Z company's inventory cost is too high. The research results not only optimize the inventory management problems in different procurement modes and help to improve overall efficiency of the enterprise, but also provide management inspiration and decision-making basis for management decision-makers in relevant industries. At the same time, the study also enriched research on procurement mode and inventory allocation.
