Credit card business has a history of more than one hundred years in western developed countries,which is of positive significance to the development of commercial banks.In recent years,China has accelerated the pace of globalization,as well as the improvement of living standards of residents,the change of consumption concept,the development of credit cards of commercial banks in China is unstoppable.However,due to the late start of credit card business in China,the rapid development,the sharp increase in the number,and the hidden problems of high income,many drawbacks faced by credit cards are becoming more and more obvious,and the problems caused by the risk of credit card business are becoming more complicated.Overdue default of credit cards is a common occurrence.Credit card fraud,arbitrage and malicious overdraft incidents emerge in endlessly,which brings huge losses to consumers and banks,and also exposes the loopholes in credit card risk management of commercial banks in China.Therefore,through effective means,strengthening credit card risk management system and preventing credit card risk are the difficult problems that our commercial banks must solve.Based on the background of the credit card development process,this paper studies the credit card business risk of Agricultural Bank S Branch by means of cases analysis,investigation and empirical analysis,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the construction of credit card business risk management system of Agricultural Bank S Branch.Firstly,by consulting the literature,this paper defines the credit card risk in a broad sense and chivalrous in theory,and classifies it into credit risk,operational risk and fraud risk.It explains the causes of credit card from information asymmetry theory,principal-agent theory,expected income theory and financial vulnerability theory,and expounds the theory of bank credit card risk management and disposal.Then,it introduces the basic situation of credit card business of Agricultural Bank S Branch,including the types of credit cards,the process of handling credit cards,the main manifestations of risks,and then,it elaborates the current situation of credit card risk of Agricultural Bank S Branch,and analyses the causes of risk.Using logistic regression equation,this paper establishes logistic regression model,carries out empirical analysis on the random samples selected in Agricultural Bank S Branch,and selects 9 variables to measure and analyze the influencing factors of credit card risk in Agricultural Bank S Branch from the perspective of individual customers,which concluded seven factors have significant impact on individual customer risk of Agricultural Bank S Branch.Finally,combined with the existing problems and empirical conclusions of Agricultural Bank of China S Branch,the paper puts forward corresponding risk control strategies from the aspects of perfecting the pre-credit standard,improving the scientific management technology of credit cards,strengthening the post-credit management of credit cards,and credit card non-performing assets securitization.The conclusion and advice of this paper researching has certain significance for the research of credit card risk of Agricultural Bank S Branch,the construction of risk system,the maintenance of bank and customer property security and the future development of credit card business.
