Analysis Of The Impact Of Service Trade On Employment In China’s Service Industry

The development of trade in services has injected fresh vitality into the economy and promoted the growth of employment at the same time.In recent years,service trade has developed rapidly,and its proportion in foreign trade has been increasing year by year.Meanwhile,the employment of the tertiary industry is also increasing.It can be seen that the development of service trade is closely related to employment in the service industry.On this basis,this paper further analyzes the impact of service trade in different industries on employment in the service industry.Using panel data and relevant data of China’s import and export trade in services and employment in the service sector from 2004 to 2016,this paper explores the impact of different types of service trade on employment in the service sector from the perspective of the whole and sub-industries.The analysis finds that the current service trade in China is still mainly driven by the development of medium and low technology service trade,and the development of medium and high technology service trade is not mature enough to give full play to the role of absorbing employment in the service industry.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of the article.The second chapter is literature review and related theories.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of China’s service trade and service industry employment,the overall development trend of both,as well as the development of service trade structure,service industry employment structure is analyzed.The fourth chapter makes a preliminary analysis on the mechanism of the influence of service trade on employment,explores the influence of service trade on employment,and analyzes and demonstrates the effect of import employment and export employment of service trade.In chapter 5,by establishing the econometric model,the author conducts the econometric regression from the perspectives of the whole industry and the sub-industry,and analyzes the direction and degree of the influence of service trade on the employment of service industry.Chapter six draws a conclusion based on the empirical research results and gives policy Suggestions: we should vigorously promote the development of service trade;We will improve the structure of trade in services.
