Research On The Selection And Deepening Of China's Supply-side Structural Reform In The New Era

As the main line of China's current economic work,the supply-side structural reform is an active choice to adapt to the new normal of economic development.Promoting structural reforms from the supply side can promote the matching of supply and demand,and can profoundly adjust the economic structure and promote the healthy and coordinated development of the national economy.However,as the reforms continue to deepen,the problems and risks in the reforms are gradually emerging.Therefore,the thesis takes the theoretical support of reform as the starting point,explores the theoretical basis of supply-side structural reform,and demonstrates the necessity of reform in combination with China's actual situation.Furthermore,the paper analyzes the problems and causes in the reform,and provides countermeasures and suggestions for deepening the supply-side structural reform in the new era.The main contents of the paper are summarized as follows:First of all,the thesis explores the theoretical basis of supply-side structural reform from three aspects: Marxist political economics,socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics and Western economics.Secondly,by sorting out the international and domestic economic situation facing China,it demonstrates the inevitability of China's supply-side structural reform in the new era.Furthermore,it summarizes the main achievements of China's supply-side structural reforms,and analyzes the problems existing in the reform from the four aspects of industrial structure transformation,supply factor allocation,government function exercise,and economic risk pressure,and then from economic activities.The reasons for the high complexity,insufficient market operation mechanism,ambiguous government and market boundaries,insufficient fiscal and taxation financial system,and inadequate innovation system are analyzed.Finally,in response to the problems in the reform,the countermeasures and suggestions for deepening the structural reform of the supply side are proposed: First,we must adhere to the socialist direction of reform and improve the top-level design of reform;second,we must effectively “go capacity” and “complement the short board”.Adjust the supply structure to achieve supply and demand matching;the third is to improve the socialist economic system and operational mechanism to achieve better resource allocation;the fourth is to stabilize demand side management,create a favorable macro environment for reform;the fifth is to promote "destocking" in an orderly manner.And “de-leveraging” to prevent and resolve the economic risks in the reform.
