The manufacturing,known as the real economy,is an essential engine for China's economic development.However,due to the weak innovation capability and the strengthening of the global competitive advantage and the high-end position of the value chain in the developed industrial countries,China's manufacturing is in urgent need of industrial upgrading to improve its competitive advantage.Any link in the manufacturing can produce mass data,in the era of big data,The big data analytics capability formed by the analysis and utilization of big data in manufacturing enterprises can bring new insights to manufacturing enterprises,bring innovation and reform to manufacturing enterprises,become the new direction of the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing enterprises,and ultimately help to enhance the competitive advantage of manufacturing enterprises.However,at present,the research of big data analytics capability in the manufacturing field is scarce,and the existing researches are all conceptual qualitative researches.The specific path of its effect on the manufacturing competitive advantage is still unclear.Therefore,it is necessary to empirically study the mechanism of the transformation of big data analytics capability into competitive advantage in the manufacturing.Based on the research and analysis of relevant domestic and foreign references,this paper constructs a structural equation model of the effect of big data analytics capability on competitive advantage with organizational learning capability and innovation capability as the mediating variables.It also divides the big data analytics capability into four dimensions: technology,management,talent and predictive,and divides the innovation capability into four dimensions: product,process,management and marketing,and puts forward relevant hypotheses.Then,this paper collects manufacturing data through the online survey of questionnaire star,and uses SPSS and AMOS data analysis software to process and analyze the data,tests the hypotheses,and draws the influence relationship among the variables.Through the test,the main conclusions drawn from this paper are as follows: First,big data analytics talent capability has a significant direct positive impact on competitive advantage,but big data analytics technology,management and predictive capabilities have no significant direct positive impact on competitive advantage;Second,organizational learning capability has a partial intermediary role between big data analytics technology,management,talent,predictive capabilities and product,process,management and marketing innovation capabilities;Third,product,process,management and marketing innovation capabilities have a complete intermediary role between big data analytics technology,management,predictive capabilities and competitive advantage,and a partial intermediary role between big data analytics talent capability and competitive advantage.The above conclusions clarify the specific path and process of big data analytics capability acting on manufacturing competitive advantage,and clarify the cognition of the conceptualization of big data analytics capability.Meanwhile,this paper not only enriches the theoretical basis of the application of big data analytics capability in the manufacturing field,but also provides a reference for manufacturing enterprises to improve their competitive advantage.
