Study On The Relationship Between The Dynamic Capability And Competitive Advantage Of Enterprises

Enterprises are more difficult to obtain and maintain their competitive position since21st century with the rapid development of science and technology, speeding up the renovation of products, increasing fierce competition among themselves. If they persist in the current situation, their competitiveness will be weak and then they will lose their competitive advantages gradually in the course of time. As long as they keep the pace with or even surpass the development of the market and science and technology, it will keep the sustained competitiveness. However, one of the fundamental factors to maintain their competitive advantages is to adapt to the dynamic environment.Therefore, in the volatile and competitive environment, What’s the relationship between enterprises dynamic capability and competitive advantages?This paper focuses on the above problem to discuss. Firstly, some theories and documents from the domestic and foreign enterprises dynamic capability and competitive advantages have been reorganized and summarized in this paper, which is the foundation to empirical research. Secondly, on the basis of the theories and documents, functional mechanism of the enterprise dynamic capability and competitive advantages has been analyzed and its theory model and assumption have been put forward, meanwhile, their measurement index has been summed up in this paper, which makes a preparation for further research. Thirdly, in this paper, some enterprises of high-tech zone of xi’an have been investigated through empirical research and questionnaire. In the first step of the empirical research, this paper analyzes the reliability and validity of the obtained data by factor analysis approach, and then in the second step make an empirical analysis to the Theory Model this paper mentioned by Structure Equation Model. Finally, the conclusion has been made in this paper that some factors play a positive and remarkable role to enterprise competitive advantage, such as enterprise dynamic elements, perceptional capability, absorbing capability, integrated capability, innovation capability, and the promoting mechanism based on the enterprise dynamic capability have been put forward.The conclusion has been made in this paper as follows:firstly, enterprise dynamic capability consists of four factors based on its forming process--perceptional capability, absorptive capability, integrated capability, innovation capability. Secondly, the result has been concluded that these four factors (perceptional capability, absorptive capability, integrated capability, innovation capability) play a positive and remarkable role respectively, and further put forward the promoting mechanism based on the enterprise dynamic capability.
