Financial Analysis Of SY Petrochemical Storage And Transportation Company On The Basis Of Harvard Framework

With the booming development of domestic logistics industry recent years,the industrial scale and efficiency have entered the rapid improvement period,and the competition in the logistics market has become increasingly fierce.Especially for the traditional storage and transportation industry,the operation mode was rough and simple,the centralized management of storage and transportation was not enough,and there was no systematic development plan,which would result in low efficiency and poor profitability.For these companies,how to get rid of the growing pressure of many modern logistics companies was an urgent problem to be solved.SY petrochemical storage and transportation company was one of the representatives of traditional storage and transportation company in D city,the company has been analyzing company's financial condition by using the traditional financial ratio analysis methods.Although this method was a mature system and widely used,but with the development of macro economy,the method of partial,hysteresis problems have also exposed gradually.In order to promote the traditional storage and transportation station to gain better economic benefits,this paper selected SY petrochemical storage and transportation company as the research object,and analyzed the company's financial situation by using Harvard analysis framework.This paper first introduced the research background,purpose and significance,and made domestic and overseas literature reviews.The second part introduced relevant concepts and theoretical basis of financial analysis,putting forward the Harvard analytical framework,and compared it with balanced scorecard,Dupont analysis method and ratio analysis method,finding out the advantages of Harvard analytical framework.The third part introduced SY petrochemical storage and transportation company and the whole industry,finding out the following problems through the current company's financial analysis conclusions: financial data and analysis procedures had limitations,fund management had risks,lacking attention of significant accounting policies,financial analysis and strategic analysis was disjointed and company's prospect analysis was ignored.The fourth part selected the financial statements of the company from 2015 to 2017 as the basic data,and used the Harvard analytical framework to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the company's financial statements from finance to strategy.Then in the fifth part,based on the analysis results of SY petrochemical storage and transportation company,giving corresponding development suggestions for the problems and providing support for the company's future development.The final conclusion was that SY petrochemical storage and transportation company should establish a company management mode oriented by marketing,an effective human resource management system and an efficient logistics information management system,and reformed existing logistics equipment.Therefore,the company has a lot of development spaces in the future.This paper was of great significance for SY petrochemical storage and transportation company to get rid of the management dilemma and improve the scientific decision.In addition,it had a certain guiding role for the storage and transportation industry to innovate the financial analysis method.It also had a certain reference significance for other industries to build the financial analysis system in accordance with their own development needs.
