Last several years,the fields of economics and management tend to regard efficiency as a research hotspot.Efficiency refers to the amount of work that can be completed in a unit of time,but the operational efficiency of commercial banks studied in this paper essentially refers to the contrast between investment and output of commercial banks in the process of business development,which reflects the ability of comprehensive conversion of resources into financial products by commercial banks.With the trend of strict financial regulation,financial disintermediation,and interest rate marketization in recent years,it is extremely difficult for commercial banks to obtain profits by relying on traditional scale expansion and resource consumption.It is necessary to take measures to enhance its competitiveness by improving management systems and optimizing resource allocation to deal with the complex and varied external environment.This paper sorts out the literature on the operational efficiency research of commercial banks at home and abroad,and finds that the research on the operational efficiency of commercial banks in the past is mostly based on DEA model,but there is little research on the operational efficiency of single bank branches,and they do not have the business analysis by management index method,which is the most common nowadays.There is a certain research gap.This paper takes H Bank branches as the research object,introduces the current business analysis status of H Bank branches by management index method,and analyzes the results of the three indicators of the deposit balance,net profit and cost-income ratio of each branch in 2015-2017.Then construct the DEA model and select the total amount of deposits,the number of employees and the operating expenses of the branches of H Bank in 2015-2017 as input variables,total loans and interest income as output variables,and the differences of results of the two methods will be analyzed.At the same time,based on the horizontal and vertical analysis of the overall efficiency,the focus is on the operational efficiency of each branch.It is found that the branches have input and output insufficiencies in the three years,and the changes in the three yearsare calculated by Malmquist index.,which can further indicate the direction of operational efficiency changes of each branch.Then select the GDP development level in different regions ? the proportion of intermediate business income,the non-performing loan ratio and to find out the influencing factors and related relationships of the operational efficiency differences of H Bank branches.Finally,it explores how to improve the operational efficiency of H Bank branches from different perspectives such as efficiency results and influencing factors,and proposes safeguard measures to ensure that the above countermeasures can be implemented effectively.Through the research in this paper,it is possible to make H Bank branches to learn in the future when improving the operational efficiency,so that the business is first,the guarantee is in place,the cost is controllable,and the income is visible.
