Quality is an important indicator of the core competitiveness of enterprises and industries.Thus,the government has repeatedly stressed the quality development issues.The economic aggregates of Jiangsu are in the forefront of China,however,with the increasing consumer demands,the poor supply quality is still a weakness in developing the economy.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to strengthen the quality work,build the brand of Jiangsu and build a strong-qualified province.Based on the current situation of the branding system and quality development in China,this paper firstly extends the Quality development to Product quality,Service quality,Engineering quality and Environmental quality,and use the Entropy method to measure and compare the level of comprehensive quality development of Jiangsu,Shanghai,Beijing and Guangdong provinces.Then,the PLS structural equation model is used to put forward the path hypothesis,construct the path equation,and investigate the concrete action path of the construction of Jiangsu brand from the dimensions of technology,finance and institutions.Moreover,we study the performance and reasons of the gap between domestic and foreign brands.Finally,some practical suggestions are put forward for Jiangsu province to build its own brands in order to be highly qualified.The study shows that although the comprehensive quality development level of Jiangsu province has been improved since 2000,there is still a big gap compared with other provinces such as Beijing,Shanghai,and Guangzhou,mainly due to the constraints of Environmental quality.Technical support,financial support and institutional support have all contributed directly to brand building in Jiangsu.What's more,compared with the developed countries,China still has a long way to go in building up its own branding effects,which mainly reflected in the areas of exporting,R&D innovation and brand strategy.According to the study,we give some suggestions such as strengthening technological innovation,promoting financial innovation,increasing government support,learning from developed countries,strengthening the independent brand building,and adhering to relevant measures,which will be of great significance for the future brand building of Jiangsu,even China.
