Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Rural Endowment In Yanji City

Caring for old people has always been an important issue human beings are faced with.China is now entering an aging society,and the trend of aging is becoming more and more obvious.The aging of the population will affect a country’s economy,politics and people’s livelihoods.Therefore,solving the problem of caring for the old is of extremely important practical significance for a country’s economic development and social harmony,and has long-term practical significance for stability and harmony of rural areas.This paper takes Yanji as the research object,and investigates the random extraction of 10 administrative villages in Yanji City using method of literature induction,questionnaire survey and the combination of theory and practice.According to the status quo of caring for old people,we find out the problems in it and causes of these problems.Furthermore,this paper analyzes these problems the perspectives of the government,society and individuals and proposes corresponding solutions.This paper is composed of five parts: the first part is introduction,which mainly introduces the background of the problem.This part also takes the theme of caring for the old in Yanji City as the theme,explains the current state and the research significance of caring for the old in Yanji City and summarizes the investigation on caring for the old both at home and abroad.Last but not least,this paper establishes the structure and research ideas of this paper,points out the innovations and deficiencies of this paper.The second part introduces relevant experience: first explains the relevant theory of caring for the old,and then introduces a successful model of caring for the old at home and abroad.The third part is the analysis of the status quo and problem of caring for the old in Yanji City:We learned the basic information,family status,situation in terms of economy,insurance,medical car,and willingness to caring for the old in rural areas of Yanji through questionnaire,and then this part summarizes some problems of caring for the old in Yanji City: people’s weak awareness and weak ability of caring for the old,inadequate system,insufficient government’s financial support for the old,and old people’s inability of caring for themselves.The fourth part is the solution of these problems.This part proposes countermeasures to the problems and status quo of caring for the ole in Yanji from the perspectives of government,society and individual.In terms of government: increase the expenditure of public service funds,promote the unification of institutions and culture,improve the "new rural insurance" and "new rural cooperation" system;in terms of society: improve the quality of service provided by institutions of caring for the old,promote traditional culture and create an atmosphere that cares for and respects the old,strengthen the publicity of caring for the old so as to raise people’s awareness supporting their old parents.In terms of individuals: cultivate old people’s interest to enrich their spiritual life,exercise more to enhance the old people’s constitution,and plan reasonably to improve their self-supporting ability;the fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the whole paper.
