Study On Layout Design Of H Company's Workshop Based On Systematic Layout Planning

A workshop facility layout is an important problem of manufacturing system design.Good workshop layout can effectively improve the working environment,reduce material handling costs and improve the efficiency of the whole production system.Nowadays there are increasingly fierce market competition and growing demand for personalized request from different customers,which brought a small batch and many varieties of dynamic and changeable production demand,whether the workshop facility layout could adapt to the dynamic change of production requirements,become one of the important factors that can increase competitiveness of the company.Therefore,studying workshop layout design under the dynamic demand situation is the topic of important theoretical and practical significance.In this thesis,the author studies on equipment layout problems,the main layout is composed of production line or manufacturing cell of the workshop.The layout problem is divided into two parts: internal equipment layout and external lines layout.Internal equipment layout is based on the line balance and operation station lean theory.And the other part is production lines layout design which belong to the line system design technology,which is also the main part of this paper studies.All of the different production line by line are considered as different units which can be used into the SLP(Systematic Layout Planning)method as basic functional objects.In the Layout design,this thesis use the SLP method and other related theories to improve the existing Layout and created new reasonable improvement plans for the workshop.Several creative design is adopted to improve the initial layout scheme such as the article considered the capacity of the workshop as well as the annual expansion strategy of the company which is reasonable and visionary.
