Since the 21 st century,information technology has developed rapidly,providing a technical environment and a market environment for the development of virtual reality.The popularity of the Internet and the maturity of 3D modeling technology have made virtual reality experience better.The popularity of smartphones and the like has provided device support for the development of some virtual reality products.With its practicality and efficiency,the virtual reality business has been widely used in various industries and fields.This has attracted the attention of major companies including Facebook,Sony,Microsoft,Google,Samsung,HTC,and Total Immersion.Facebook took the lead in testing the virtual reality field,spending $2 billion in investment.This test of water ignited the enthusiasm of the capital market for the virtual reality industry,and the VR industry quickly transitioned from the start-up phase to the rapid development phase.In China,a number of Internet companies have also invested in it.Tencent,Storm,360,etc.have entered the market.If 2016 is the first year of VR,then 2017 will become the VR capital year.It can be seen that the prospects for virtual reality applications and the market prospects are very impressive.This article focuses on the marketing strategy research of Company A's Virtual Reality(VR)business.Firstly,it briefly introduces the development of VR business of Company A.Then,it analyzes the environmental conditions of VR business of Company A from the perspective of macro environment,competitive environment and internal conditions,and then uses SWOT analysis to clarify its business development.At the same time,through the method of questionnaire survey,the consumer's preference for VR business,consumption habits and demand status were discussed in depth.Finally,based on the above analysis,the marketing strategy suggestion of Company A to develop VR business was put forward: Improve the performance expectations and efforts of VR business,increase publicity and enhance user's subjective norms,enhance the entertainment of VR business,appropriately reduce the cost of VR business,adopt differentiated marketing strategies,and pay attention to customer needs.
