Research On The Impact Of New Urbanization On Economic Growth Rate And Industrial Structure Optimization

China is in a critical period of transition from high-speed growth to high-quality development.New urbanization contains huge potential for domestic demand and is seen as a new driving force for economic development.With the deepening of new urbanization,exploring the impact of new urbanization on economic growth rate and industrial structure optimization is of great significance for China to further promote new urbanization and maintain high-quality and sustainable economic development.This paper starts from the international experience of urbanization and economic growth,and explores the general law of urbanization and economic growth and the particularity of China.Based on the real dilemma faced by China's urbanization development,explaining the new urbanization is the new impetus for economic growth.Secondly,establish an indicator system to scientifically measure the development level of new urbanization in 30 provinces and cities in China from 2001 to 2017.Taking the development level index as the main explanatory variable,a panel model is established to empirically test the promotion effect of new urbanization on the economic growth rate and the non-linear relationship between them,and regional comparison is made.Then,considering the transformation of economic growth target from speed-up to high-quality development,in order to explore the impact of new urbanization on the quality of economic growth,an empirical model is constructed to test the impact of new urbanization on the optimization of industrial structure,focusing on the role of new urbanization in the internal structure optimization of manufacturing and service industries.Empirical studies show that,as a whole,the new urbanization construction can significantly promote the growth of economic growth.At the same time,it has a significant role in promoting the optimization of industrial structure,the upgrading of manufacturing industry and the modernization of service industry.From a regional perspective,the role of new urbanization in promoting the growth of economic growth in the central and western regions is more significant than in the eastern region,while there are certain regional differences in the eastern,central and western regions in terms of the impact on industrial structure optimization.Finally,the paper summarizes the impact of new urbanization on the quantity and quality of economic growth.Based on the new urbanization construction and economic development in various regions of China,this paper proposes policy recommendations to further promote new urbanization and promote sustained and healthy economic development.
