A Survey Of Influencing Factors In The Choice Of Rural Elderly Care Models In Poor Areas Of Shandong Province

As China's aging level continues to increase,the issue of old-age care is becoming more and more prominent.In his 2018 government work report,Premier Li Keqiang emphasized that it is necessary to implement the poverty alleviation policy for the elderly and the poor.The pension problem of rural elderly in poverty-stricken areas is directly related to the implementation of “precision poverty alleviation”.How to make the elderly in poverty-stricken areas enjoy the old age is one of the problems to be solved in poverty-stricken areas.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the influencing factors of rural residents' pension mode selection and to conduct targeted countermeasure research in underdeveloped areas.As a provincial-level financially difficult county in Shandong Province and one of the 20 poverty-stricken counties,Yishui County is a typical poverty-stricken area in Shandong Province.Therefore,this paper takes Yishui County as a sample area,selects 6 provincial-level poverty-stricken villages for questionnaire survey and interviews,and analyzes 225 valid questionnaire data.Then,select a number of factors that affect the choice of local rural residents' pension patterns as independent variables,including the situation of personal,economic,family and the pension risk awareness.The multivariate logistic regression model is used to analyze the influencing factors affecting the choice of the rural residents.The empirical analysis shows that the factors affecting the choice of the rural residents in the old-age model are gender,age,education level,health status,income level,income source,income evaluation,number of children,co-residence and the participation of the pension insurance.The factors such as marital status,occupation,and the worries about the pension problem have not been significantly affected.Finally,based on the empirical research on the factors influencing the choice of rural residents' pension mode in Lishui County,the paper puts forward some suggestions for the rural old-age model in poverty-stricken areas of Shandong Province.The main suggestions include: consolidating and improving family pension;improving the current level of social pension mode and continue to innovate new social pension models.;raising farmers' income levels to improve self-supporting ability.
