The modern enterprise must develop technology innovation,in order to maintain competitive advantage and to improve operating performance constantly.Through empirical research,this paper discusses the relationship between the executive inventive,the characteristics of the top management team,and the enterprise innovation performance.In this paper,we firstly review the relevant theory of executive inventive,TMT characteristics,and enterprise innovation performance.Based on existing literature,we put forward the research hypothesis and the concept model.Then we choose the listed company of the software and information technology industry as research sample,and carry out linear-regression analysis with the collected data.The model shows that:(1)the executive incentive has significant influence on enterprise technology innovation performance;(2)the top management team characteristics play a significant moderating role on the relationship between the executive motivation and enterprise technology innovation performance.Finally,according to the results of empirical research,we put forward several comments to the enterprise innovation practice.Besides,we summarize the limitations of this study,and propose the possible directions of the future research.
