Since 2014,China has entered the new economic normal, shifting from pursuing growth to pursuing development quality. The growth momentum has shifted from factors and investment scales to service industry development and innovation. The domestic economic situation has undergone major changes, and the external development environment of the banking industry has become severe and complicated. The changes in the macroeconomic environment have directly led to the continued slowdown in the growth rate of bank deposits, and the narrowing of bank funding sources has made the competition for stable funding sources increasingly fierce. On the other hand,China is also accelerating the reform of interest rate marketization, completely liberalizing the restrictions on deposit and loan interest rates, resulting in the lack of stability of the bank's actual income, which means that the Chinese banking industry can no longer rely on policy dividends to create huge net interest income. The macroeconomic environment and policy changes indicate that the golden age of the banking industry has ceased to exist, and the Chinese banking industry must reshape the income structure and transform the profit mechanism to find another income growth point. At the same time, the state attaches great importance to the development of small and medium-sized banks, and the small and medium-sized banks have insufficient bargaining power in traditional spread business, forcing them to change their business philosophy, and to develop non-interest income while increasing the proportion of noninterest income in operating income. The bank's choice. Therefore, this paper will analyze the influencing factors of non-interest income of small and medium-sized banks, and try to put forward effective suggestions to provide reference for the development of non-interest income of small and medium-sized banks in the future. From the domestic study of non-interest income, scholars pay more attention to the study of non-interest income, and analyze the total or proportion as an indicator, but rarely discuss its internal subdivision structure. At the same time, scholars often use non-interest income as an explanatory variable to explore their impact on bank performance or risk, while ignoring the research on the factors affecting non-interest income. In addition, due to the small scale of small and medium-sized banks and insufficient data disclosure, scholars are more inclined to study large financial institutions or the overall banking industry, and less research on non-interest income of small and medium-sized banks. Therefore, this paper takes small and medium-sized banks as the research object and analyzes the influencing factors of non-interest income.First, the part that excludes net interest income from operating income is non-interest income, and discusses the difference between non-interest income business and intermediary business. At the same time, according to the entries listed in the bank's annual income statement, the non-interest income is composed of five parts, and the specific content contained in each part is described in detail.Secondly, according to the non-interest income data and statistical results of each bank, the status quo and problems of non-interest income development are summarized.Thirdly, the relevant data of 16 small and medium-sized banks in different regions from 2013 to 2017 and the macroeconomic data of each bank's region were selected to establish a panel data model. The relationship between non-interest income of small and medium-sized banks and their internal factors and regional economic factors was empirically studied..Finally,it draws conclusions and proposes that small and medium banks develop non-interest income.Due to the limited academic research ability of the author, there are inevitably omissions and deficiencies in this paper.I hope that the reviewing teachers can criticize and correct them.I will certainly accept them modestly.Thank you,teachers!...
