Under the background of economic globalization, regional economic integration has always been a hot issue in academic research, and the thinking on the differences between transnational trade and domestic trade has contributed to the academic research on transnational and domestic border effects. From the perspective of border effect, the process of regional economic integration is the focus of academic research. As a special region,Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao have world-class urban agglomerations, explore its boundary effects, and help break the region. This paper theoretically analyzes the source, manifestation and influencing factors of the boundary effect in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.Based on the one-price boundary effect model, the relative price of commodities is measured using the five categories of commodity price data of 11 cities in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao from 2001 to 2016.Volatility index.Firstly, this paper uses dynamic panel data to estimate the size, trend and influencing factors of urban boundary effects in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.Secondly, the sub-sample data is used to estimate the boundary effect between Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.Finally,cross-sectional data from subsamples are used to estimate the boundary effects between commodities in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macau. The empirical results show that:(1)There are boundary effects in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao, and the existence of borders makes the commodity prices of the two cities different, indicating that the boundary has hinder the circulation of the elements between the two cities in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao;(2)Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao The boundary effect of the land gradually decreases with the deepening of regional economic cooperation, and the level of integration of urban agglomerations continues to increase. The boundary effect between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta is lower than that of Macao and the Pearl River Delta, indicating that the level of integration of the former is higher than that of the latter.(3)After the global financial crisis in 2008,the urban boundary effect of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao was lower than the urban boundary effect of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao before the financial crisis;(4)There were significant border effects of food, tobacco, clothing, housing and medical care in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao. There is no boundary effect in the transportation and communication industry.Since the boundary filtering function causes the boundary effect of tradable goods to be higher than the boundary effect of non-tradable goods, the existence of boundary shielding is confirmedThis paper proposes relevant policy recommendations from institutional dividends, government roles, transportation infrastructure, and non-government agencies. The border area has significant geographical advantages and abundant land resources, and is often the most active area in the region. Therefore, the three border areas of Nansha,Qianhai and Hengqin can make full use of the system dividend, further reduce transaction costs and realize the new one.The economic developmentof the round leads the regional cooperation between Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao;in order to promote the deepening of integration and strengthen the full free flow of elements in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,it is necessary to strengthen infrastructure construction, which is the physical basis of regional integration;government intervention in the market It has different degrees of influence on commodity price fluctuations and price fluctuations of different commodities in different periods, and it is conducive to reducing the fluctuation of commodity prices. The cooperation between Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao not only depends on the “invisible hand” of the market to automatically adjust the balance, but also It is necessary to use the “visible hand” of the government to carry out macroeconomic regulation and control;to form inter-regional non-governmental organizations, and to promote regional government cooperation from the bottom up with the power of the people. In turn, regional economic integration is achieved.
