Study On The Suitability Evaluation Of Rural Tourism Roads In The County Of Jiangsu, Zhejiang And Shanghai

In the context of global tourism,a perfect rural tourism road is a prerequisite for the integrated development of tourism and self-driving tour.At present,no systematic theory and method system have been formed for the special research on rural tourism road.Based on the rapid development of rural tourism roads in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai,it is of theoretical and practical significance to explore the suitability of rural tourism road selection in the country for the research and development of rural tourism roads in China.On the basis of defining the concept of rural tourism road,the literature research method,field investigation method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics and inductive analysis method and cross research method were applied in this paper.In addition,9 rural tourism roads in 5 rural tourism destinations in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai were investigated,and tourism resources,traffic conditions,visual landscape and supporting facilities were analyzed as the main characteristics.Combined with the tourist psychology and behavior study of self-driving travelling,this paper focuses on the systematically studies on the theory and method of evaluation on tourism road and the construction of the evaluation system of the suitability of route selection of country rural tourism road.The single-factor suitability level and comprehensive suitability index of nine tourism roads in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai were evaluated.Taking Liyang City in Jiangsu Province as an example,the paper evaluates the suitability of rural tourism road alignment and sums up the advantages and disadvantages of 8 rural tourism roads.The main results are shown below:(1)Among the 9 county-level rural tourism roads in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai,there are 3 roads of level II and 6 roads of level III,and the evaluation suitability level of road alignment is 100% concentrated in level II and level III.Overall,the comprehensive suitability of rural tourism roads in counties in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai is 3.88,which belongs to Grade III(middle).The analysis shows that the suitability of tourist resources and external traffic is uneven.The main restricting factors of the suitability of the line selection are the diversity of tourism resources and the complete configuration of facilities.(2)Based on the four aspects: the value of tourism resources,the convenience of transportation,the aesthetic sensibility of visual landscape along the route and the rationality of facilities allocation,a theoretical and methodological system for evaluating the suitability of route selection of rural tourism roads in counties is established,including tourism resources,tourism resources quantity and distribution level of rationality,diversity of tourism resources and other 9 factors.The criterion level weights from high to low is in an order of tourism resources,the aesthetic degree of visual landscape along the line,the rationality of facilities allocation and the convenience of traffic.(3)Among the 8 rural tourism roads in Liyang,there are 3 roads of level II and 5 roads of level III.The evaluation suitability level of road alignment is 100% concentrated in Class II and III level.This result shows that the suitability of route selection of rural tourism roads in Liyang is very high.Overall,the comprehensive suitability of rural tourism roads in Liyang is 3.55,which belongs to Grade III(middle).However,there are few high-grade highways in Liyang,indicating that there is still room for improvement and reconstruction.Tourism resource level,external traffic connection degree and connection degree with other roads are the main limiting factors of the suitability of rural tourism road selection in Liyang.(4)In terms of optimization strategy,aiming at the problems and shortcomings of different roads,several corresponding suggestions were put forward from the following five aspects: excavation and utilization of regional characteristics,establishment of rural tourism road system,improvement of service,ecologization and informatization of tourism road facilities.The innovations of this research are as follows: 1)The research methods and contents are determined though comprehensively applying the theories and methods of tourism science,urban and rural transportation science,landscape architecture.2)The method of field investigation,AHP and composite index are used crossly to make a useful exploration of the suitability of multi-objective tourist route selection by establishing a systematic and comprehensive evaluation.This study is a useful supplement to the study of tourism roads in China,and can be applied to the planning and construction of county tourism roads in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai provinces,and also to some other regions in China.This paper focuses on the rural tourism roads in counties in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai.There are some limitations on the research objects without involving other regions,which affects the application scope of the research conclusions to a certain extent.This paper focuses on the study of single rural tourism road in the county.The in-depth research on the establishment of rural tourism road network in county,rural tourism road management and informatization are not enough.
