With the increase of urbanization rate and the upgrading of domestic population consumption,China’s catering market is also maintaining rapid growth.From 2013 to 2017,the total revenue growth reached 1,237.6 billion yuan.If China’s catering industry wants to achieve broader development prospects in the fierce competition,it must focus on the implementation of the differentiation strategy.The improvement of service satisfaction,personalization and customer experience in the catering industry also affects the financial behavior of listed companies in the domestic catering industry.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply explore how the positioning and implementation of corporate strategy have an impact on the company’s financial behavior,and provide a certain reference for corporate strategic management and control.“Haidilao” is the world’s leading and fast-growing Chinese catering brand.The implementation of the Haidilao differentiation strategy has formed a unique cultural phenomenon in the Chinese catering industry,which has been unanimously recognized by the industry and abroad.This paper uses PEST analysis model,Porter’s five-force model and SWOT tool to analyze the environment of the catering industry and the internal and external environment of Haidilao Company,and combines the main logic of “industry environment—competition strategy—financial behavior—profitability”.The implementation of the differentiation strategy has affected the investment methods of catering companies,and promoted the mutual promotion of financing capabilities,but also affected the stability of the company’s dividend policy.In addition,the effective implementation of the differentiation strategy will significantly improve the company’s profitability.This paper combines the analysis of corporate financing behavior,investment behavior and dividend distribution to understand the relationship between domestic listed catering companies in the competition strategy and corporate financial behavior,and provides reference for domestic catering industry listed companies.
