Study On The Pressure And Reconstruction Of Family Support System For The Aged In Rural China

In the rural areas where the social security system is not perfect,family support for the aged is still the mainstay to protect their lives.However,with the change of rural society,the family support system for the aged faces a series of pressures and urgently needs to be reconstructed.Family support system for the aged consists of four subsystems: control system,power system,resource system and target system,these four independent and interdependent subsystems make the stability and the sustainability of family support system for the aged are guaranteed.However,the increased risk of modernity puts a great strain on the family support system for the aged.First of all,due to the impact of individualization trends,the concept and behavior of pension for the individual peasants have changed,which has weakened the motivation for outputting the pension resources.Secondly,the family structure and intergenerational relationships have changed,reducing the supply of family endowment resources.Third,the concept of community care for the elderly has been declining,gradually losing the role of safeguarding the operation of the family support system for the aged.The pressure on these three subsystems eventually leads to the target system,which fails to achieve the goal of the family support system for the aged.The driving force behind the reconstruction of family support system for the aged comes precisely from the pressure it faces.In order to ensure the rationality of reconstruction,we need to do some preparations: First,compare and draw on the experience in Japan and South Korea,these two countries belong to developed countries and have a similar background to China,their experience is more suitable for China.Second,we should clarify the value orientation of the family support system for the aged and guide the overall development trend of it.Thirdly,plan a reasonable reconstruction path to ensure the implementation of reconstruction is clear and feasible.Finally,on the basis of the above studies,we can construct a family support system for the aged in rural China that meets the requirements of modernity.Now,the trend of individualization fundamentally affects the operation of family support system for the aged in rural China.Therefore,in the process of reconstructing family support system for the aged,we should fully considered the impact of the individualization trend,ensured that the new system could take advantage of the favorable factors and digested the unfavorable factors of it,giving full play to the maximum guarantee for the elderly in rural areas.
