Empirical Research On The Consumption Structure Of Urban And Rural Residents In Hebei Province Since The Reform And Opening-up

Consumption structure is an important part of economics,which can reflect the living standard and economic development of a region or even a country from many angles.At present,hebei's economy is in a critical period of development and transformation.In this context,studying the consumption structure of urban and rural residents is of great significance to further improving the living standard of urban and rural residents in hebei province and adjusting the industrial structure.Therefore,this paper analyzes the changes and existing problems of the consumption structure of urban and rural residents in hebei province since the reform and opening up,especially since the tax distribution reform in 1994.The paper first introduces the research background and significance of the subject,research status at home and abroad,as well as the basic theories and basic methods involved,including consumption structure,engel coefficient,extended linear expenditure system(ELES)model and so on.Second,to fully understand the change of the consumption structure of urban and rural residents in hebei province since the reform and opening up,the urban and rural residents in hebei province in 1993-2016 food,clothing,housing,supplies and services,transportation,communication,education and cultural entertainment,medical care and other products and services,a total of eight categories of consumer spending history data comprehensive comparison,analyzes the various consumer trends,explore urban and rural residents consumption differences;Finally,based on ELES model for urban and rural residents' consumption expenditure data in hebei province were studied,at the same time combined with model parameter estimation results for urban and rural residents' basic consumption demand,consumption tendency,and consumption difference analysis,and based on the historical data of per capita disposable income prediction model is established to forecast the consumption data in 2017,for the rationality of the forecast results,combined with the model analysis results and the actual situation of hebei province,is given to the optimization of the consumption structure of urban and rural residents in hebei province are presented.
