Donald Trump launched a series of foreign economic policies aimed at "America First" after he was elected President of the United States.Against the backdrop of "anti-globalisation",these political moves have certainly added to uncertainty about the outlook for the world economy.China and the United States have close economic and trade relations.This paper focuses on analyzing the reasons for Trump's trade protectionism,main characteristics and the negative impact to China's research conclusion includes: Trump's economic policies are heavily mercantilist,strong tariffs repressive policies reversed transmission trade rivals have certain contradiction to heel,policy means,Trump's trade protectionism would have certain long-term.In this context,China should pay high attention to,but at the same time maintain its self-confidence,continue to steadily promote domestic reform and "One Belt And One Road" construction,adjust the structure of exports to the United States,encourage domestic enterprises to develop towards the high-end of the industrial chain,improve laws and regulations related to intellectual property rights,and promote the growth of service trade.
