Research On The Impact Of Service Trade Liberalization On The Technical Complexity Of My Country's Service Export

With the further development of economic globalization and information application technology,the world trade structure has ushered in a new round of reform,namely appearing as the transformation,of center of the traditional trade into the service trade.Trade in services has shown a trend of vigorous development and has gradually become an important backbone for economic development and global competition.Since its accession to the WTO,China has constantly adopted the opening-up policy and widened its service sector to the outside world,actively lowered the threshold of service market access,and achieved fruitful results in service trade.According to statistics,the scale of China's import and export of services hit a record high in 2018,among which the export of services reached 1765.8 billion yuan.However,with regards to the export quality,the export of traditional low-end service still takes up the main part,and the export structure of service products is not balanced.The technical content and product quality of service exports need to be improved urgently.Therefore,it is crucial to explore the causal relationship and mechanism between service trade liberalization and service export technology complexity.Based on the above-mentioned background,the paper examines the impact of service trade liberalization on technical complexity of China's service export theoretically and empirically.Firstly,this paper defines the concepts of service trade liberalization and service export complexity,and sorts out the most related literature.Secondly,the paper theoretically analyzes the influence mechanism of service trade liberalization on service export technical complexity,and analyzes the level of service trade liberalization and service export technical complexity.Based on these preparations,the paper chooses some cntrol varialbles such as per capita GDP,the technical innovation ability and the level of foreign direct investment and carries out a empirical research on export of service trade liberalization and its technology complexity.The test results show that there exists a long-term stable causality between technical complexity of service export and China's service trade liberalization.Then,the paper embarks from the services sector level and introduces the introduction of industry scale,the element intensity and the degree of competition as control variables,and then maks another empirical test about the impact of service trade liberalization on China's service export technical complexity.The results show that the service trade liberalization and service export technical complexity are positively related in our country,the degree of service trade liberalization can significantly improve the export service technical complexity.Finally,based on the theoretical and empirical analysis,some feasible Suggestions are put forward.
