Compare Research On Technical Efficiency Of Apple Industry Organization Based On Farmers' Perspective

Agricultural development in China has entered the stage of modern agricultural development from traditional agriculture.It was appeared some new types of industrial organizations.The development of the apple industry has changed from quantity to quality.Most of the apple-producing areas are faced with the need for upgrading,innovation,and the transformation of cultivation mode and industrial development.This situation gives more chances to different business organizations playing the important role during the developing period of the apple industry.However,does the coexistence of diversified business organizations meet the needs of industrial development? How is the efficiency of the organizations' operations? These questions are worth to be studyed.In the existing academic research literature,the researches on related issues focus on the analysis of the efficiency of single organization technology and its influencing factors.They lacked more specific and in-depth exploration research on technical efficiency of different operating organizations as well as comparative analysis between organizations.Therefore,measuring technical efficiency of these operating organizations in the development of the apple industry and judging whether it is suitable for the needs of industrial development is a key issue that needs to be resolved urgently in the development and upgrading of the apple industry.The management of industrial organization is based on farmer unit.Therefore,based on the perspective of farmers,the paper studies the technical efficiency of the apple industry organization under the guidance of industrial organization theory and technical efficiency theory.Based on the survey data of Apple Industry System team,which has done some surveys in 2017 in some apple-planting areas in both Shaanxi and Shandong provinces.The paper compares and analyzes the technical efficiency of the apple industry organizations from the perspective of factor redundancy and return to scale,using the non-parametric method represented by DEA to measure the technical efficiency of the apple industry organizations.Then whether the factor input structure of the Apple Industry Organization is reasonable and which scale of operations is the best are valued.On above researches,the author drawing the following conclusions: First,the comprehensive technical efficiency of different industrial organizations in apple is generally low.The comprehensive technical efficiency is determined by the combination of pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency.The low pure technical efficiency of the apple industry is the main reasons.Second,from the perspective of factor redundancy,there are different degrees of redundancy in the input of different in apple industrial organizations.The traditional household holds the largest proportion of redundancy,cooperatives + farmers is in second degree.The percent of improvement of redundancy for household farm is minimal.The third point,efficiency of the scale for the apple industry organization is not high enough.The low scale efficiency is one of the factors that affects the technical efficiency of the apple industry organization.One of the reasons for the low scale efficiency is that the land is too shredded,which is not conducive to the scale operation of the apple industry.According to the above analysis conclusions,the solutions that can be showed as: To guide the development of the apple industry organization towards a more technically efficient organization;Optimizing the structure of the input elements,rationally arrange the input factors;And to improve the land transfer system.Encourage Apple industry organizations to carry out land transfer and increase the scale efficiency of Apple's industrial operations;Finally,to increase investment in technical training and improve the technical efficiency of Apple's industrial organization.
