Empirical Research On Profitability And Influencing Factors Of Bank G

Profitability,as a key factor for the survival of commercial banks,has a significant impact on the expansion,sustainable development,competitiveness and influence of banks.Under the new normal economic situation,China's banking industry is facing new challenges brought by the slowdown of economic growth,marketization of interest rates,financial disintermediation and Internet shocks,and its profitability and level have also been greatly impacted.Therefore,how to objectively evaluate the impact of internal and external factors on the profitability of banks has become particularly important,and has become a realistic problem that commercial banks must face.This paper takes G Bank,a branch of Agricultural Bank of China,as the research object.Based on the improved DuPont analysis model,this paper makes a deep analysis of the bank's profitability index through the layer-by-layer decomposition analysis method,using the relevant data of annual reports in the past ten years.At the same time,collect the annual report data of Agricultural Bank of China,and make a comparative analysis with the bank's profitability indicators,find out the shortcomings of G Bank's profitability indicators.On this basis,using the relevant financial data of G Bank in recent ten years,starting with the indicators of capital return rate,asset quality,reserve coverage,cost-cost ratio,asset scale and economic environment,the factors that affect G Bank's profitability and sustainable profitability are found out,and the grey correlation model is constructed.The influence degree of each factor is analyzed by using DPS data processing software.Empirical research evaluates the internal and external factors affecting profitability,explores the extent of their impact on profitability,and finally puts forward operable measures and suggestions.Through comprehensive and objective research and analysis,it finds the way and direction for G Bank to further enhance its profitability,helps G Bank to maintain its sustainable profitability,and also provides some reference for commercial banks with similar characteristics with G Bank.
