Land is the material basis for human survival,and land use change has always been a research hotspot.There is an inseparable relationship between land use and regional economic development.From the relationship between regional economic development and land use,the coupling degree of the two is discussed to provide guidance for the sustainable use of land and the sustainable development of regional economy.opinion.This paper takes Xishui County in the Karst Mountain Area as the research object,and uses the theory of system theory,sustainable development theory,coordination degree theory and landscape ecology as the guide.Based on the collection of Xishui County economic data and land database,the use of mathematical statistics,Landscape analysis,entropy method,coordination degree evaluation and four-quadrant methods,pointed out the problems and characteristics of land use in Xishui County,calculated the regional economic and land use coordination degree of Xishui County,and used the four quadrant method based on the coordination result.Land use is divided,and different optimization conditions are set for different zones.The following conclusions are drawn:1.Problems and characteristics of land resources in Xishui County: The distribution of land resources in Xishui County is quite different,resulting in different levels of social and economic development in each township.The agricultural land resources are abundant,but the distribution is uneven.The forest areas of the towns and towns where the nature reserves and heritage sites are located are large.The large cultivated land area is mainly located in the towns and villages with relatively flat terrain in the south and west of Xishui County.Due to the influence of the terrain of the karst mountains,Cultivated land is broken.The overall level of land use in Xishui County is not high.The land use structure is not reasonable enough.There are obvious differences in the land landscape index of each township.The diversity index is 0.643 in Huilong Town and 0.386 in Sanchahe Township.The land use diversity is low,which will lead to ecological imbalance.Chengzhai Township and Tongji The
