Dingxi City is one of the poorest urban areas in Gansu Province. The rural population accounts for about 70 % of the city's total population. For a long time, local governments have made great contributions to poverty alleviation, improved rural infrastructure, and raised the level of agricultural production and farmers' income. However, there are also a number of problems, such as the low overall income level and the gradual widening of the gap between rural and urban income distribution, which to a large extent hinder the long-term socio-economic development of the region. As an important way to promote rural financial development and increase farmers 'income from poverty reduction, inclusive finance has been promoted nationwide under the call of government policies and the concerted efforts of all parties, and has played a positive role in the reform of rural finance and the improvement of farmers' living standards.Based on this, this paper makes use of the relevant data of Dingxi City for 13 years from 2005 to 2017,from the perspective of inclusive financial development that may increase farmers 'income, from the three dimensions of the availability of financial services,as well as eight specific indicators such as deposits and loans per capita. The development level of financial inclusion in Dingxi City was measured. On this basis, the disposable income of rural residents is used as the dependent variable, and eight possible indicators such as per capita fiscal expenditure, industrial structure, and financial inclusion index(IFI)are used as influence variables. The relationship between financial development and income growth of farmers in Dingxi City was studied by means of path analysis. The research results show that the development of inclusive finance not only has a direct positive impact on the income of farmers in Dingxi, but also has a positive effect on farmers 'income through the indirect effectsof other factors.
