Coupling Relationship And Mechanism Betwween The Urban Land Intensive Use And Compact City Development

In the process of accelerating the process of new urbanization,there is a close relationship between the intensive use of urban land and compact development.The complex system formed by the coupling of the two is of great significance to the synergy between urban development and land use and the realization of sustainable urbanization.the interaction mechanism has been analyzed,and the PSR framework of the coupled system has been established.Taking Hunan Province as an example,a comprehensive evaluation index system was established and a coupling degree model was used.coordination degree model and relative development degree model,explored the level of urban land intensive use and compact city development and the coupling and coordination level between Hunan and Hunan provinces during the period of 2000-2015;applied granger causality analysis and typical correlations analyzed its coupling mechanism,and policy suggestions to promote the intensive use of urban land and the development level of compact cities in Hunan Province has been proposed.The results showed:(1)The coupling effect of the two is mainly reflected in:(1)the promotion of compact urban development through the intensive use of urban land;(2)the coercion of compact urban development on the intensive use of urban land.(2)The urban land intensive use,the compact city development level,and the level of coordination between the two cities in Hunan Province are continuously improving,showing an upward trend;the coupling level is generally higher,but it is decreasing.(3)The level of coordination between the two is generally a spatial feature of “high in the east and low in the west”.Most cities have transformed from medium and low levels of coupling and coordination to high-quality,good-level coupled and coordinated types,with no low-level coupling and coordination,and coordination.The higher areas have a clear spatial attraction for the lower areas.(4)The internal factors of the urban land intensive use and compact city coupling system are closely linked,and the average fixed asset investment in the city.
