In the development of the contemporary lighting industry,intelligent integrated lighting has gradually become a trend.As the core technology of intelligent integrated lighting,intelligent control has become the research direction of more and more enterprises.The remote controller is used widely as a basic component of intelligent control products.Among them,the subject comes from the pilot production of an intelligent lighting product in the company.The yield of the SMT production on wireless module of the remote controller is only 56.3%,far lower than 99.5% as normal products performed.So we must focus on improving the yield of the product,ensure the quality of mass production.In this paper,the DMAIC model of Six Sigma is used to study the SMT process technology.In order to improve the yield of SMT production,we optimized the SMT process of the product by using s series of Six Sigma management methods and tools,especially DOE.Through the study,the main results are as follows:Fishbone diagram,cause and effect matrix,FMEA methlods are used to find out the potential KPIV that affecting the yield of SMT production on the wireless module of the remote controller;hypothesis testing,process capability analysis are used to find out the final KPIV that affecting the yield of SMT production on the wireless module of the remote controller,the results are the wrong stencil aperture and the wrong printing process parameters;the Pugh Matrix evaluation scheme is used to optimize the design of the stencil;the DOE experimental design is used to find out the best printing process parameters and the corresponding regression equation;Increase the yield of SMT production on wireless module of remote controller from 56.3% to 99.875%;Succeed in applying the research findings to four lighting control products,the yield of the first pilot production of these products reached more than 99%.
