Standing at the corner of 21 st century,diversity has been a prevailed trend in all works of life.In terms of the topic of diversity management,academy and societal practices has created hundreds of thousands of qualitative and quantitative studies.Among the factors that influence employees' attitude and behaviors,the characteristics,capabilities and patterns of leadership always play important roles.When interacting with employees of diversified personalities and competence,managerial attitude and behaviors that express innate inclusion have significate impact on forming employees' perception of organization identification and acceptance,which therefore affects employees' intention to leave.This article investigates whether perceived managerial competence of inclusion could affect employees' intention to leave,considering the mediating effects of employee engagement and moderating effect of employee dependence.This article firstly conducted literature reviews and then put forward a theoretical framework.By conducting the questionnaires survey this study collected data from employees in 39 companies and drew out inclusions as followed: 1.Managerial competency of inclusion(MCI)will be negatively associated with employees' intension to leave.2.Managerial competency of inclusion(MCI)will be positively associated with employees' engagement.3.Employee engagement will partially mediate the relationship between managerial competency of inclusion(MCI)and intension to leave.4.Employee dependence temperament will negatively moderate the relationship between managerial competency of inclusion(MCI)and engagement,such that the positive relationship between MCI and engagement will be stronger when employees are low in terms of dependence temperament.5.Dependence temperament will positively moderate the relationship between employee engagement and intension to leave,such that the negative relationship between engagement and intension to leave will be stronger when employees are low in terms of dependence temperament.This study aims to implement the research of diversity management in academy and inspire managers with enlightenments of how to improve employee engagement attitude and lower employees' intention to leave.
