The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the goal of all poverty alleviation in rural areas by 2020.At this key historical node, the net income of Inner Mongolian herders is on the rise, but its growth rate fluctuates greatly. In absolute terms, the gap between the disposable income of urban residents and net income of herdsmen continues to expand. At the same time, the author's investigations in Chifeng City,Xilin Gol League and Bayan Nur City in Inner Mongolia found that the growth rate of herdsmen's income declined, herdsmen's dating, and herdsmens' ability to resist risks were weak. Therefore, this study will study the factors affecting herdmen's income,in order to provide theoretical guidance for herders to increase their income.Based on the analysis of the relevant theories and literatures on the factors affecting the income of herdsmen, this paper firstly analyzes the status of net income of Inner Mongolian herdsmen.Secondly, through the cross-sectional data of the field research conducted by Bahrain Right Banner in Chifeng City,Xilinhot City of Xilin Gol League and Urad Middle Banner of Bayan Nur City in 2016,the multiple linear regression model was used to empirically study the influencing factors of the pure income of the herdsmen as a micro-subjects.Finally,the interaction between the net income of animal husbandry and the price of mutton, the net income of animal husbandry and the production cost of animal husbandry in all alliance cities of Inner Mongolia were studied. The conclusions drawn from the study are: First, the age of the head of household is significantly negatively correlated with the net income of herdsmen, which is the limiting factor for the net income of animal husbandry;the length of years of animal husbandry, the length of education, the area of pasture, whether there is grassland and the expenditure of forage, those five factors have a significant positive relationship with pastoral net income. In addition to the forage expenditure, other influencing factors are generally fixed. That is to say, most of the factors affecting the net income of animal husbandry without large-scale individual herdsmen come from the influencing factors that they cannot break through.Second, the price of mutton has a positive effect on the net income of animal husbandry;the production cost of animal husbandry has a negative impact on the net income of animal husbandry. That is,herdsmen lack the ability to resist market and ecological risks. Finally, according to the research conclusions, the policy recommendations for the increase of herdsmen's income in Inner Mongolia are put forward, that is,to promote the cooperative economic work of the herdsmen;and to promote the introduction and cultivation of talents.
