Research On The Risk Management Of K Company’s Sixth-Generation Panel Development Project

With the continuous development and change of LED lighting global market,especially after the successful acquisition of the international lighting giant Ledvance by Mulinsen,the Chinese lighting enterprises gradually lead the international lighting market,and the competition among domestic lighting enterprises become more and more fierce.Many domestic lighting enterprises are introducing unique,high-tech products rapidly to open new markets to avoid the existing fierce competition.But the rapid and bold innovation itself also leads to certain risks.Find out and avoid the risks in the new product development process in advance,make the developed new products be accepted by the market and customers quickly will benefit to the enterprises and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.This paper takes K company as the object,analyzes the current situation of risk management and the existing problems in the new product development project process and finds out the current shortage.Then taking the sixth generation panel development project as an example,Based on the potential risk factors of cost,product design,progress,supplier management,and product quality in this project,use the brainstorming method to identify and K company’s new product development process to identify and select the key risk factors in the project.Then using risk assessment methods and tools to analyze and evaluate key risk factors,calculate the overall risk of new product development project and determine the risk level,then identify the importance of key risk factors.Analyze each key risk factor according to risk response strategy theory,select appropriate risk response strategies and take detailed risk response measures.This paper provides a solid theoretical foundation for the risk management of the K Company’s sixth-generation panel development project to ensure the smooth implementation of the project and provide valuable experience for K Company’s new product development projects in the future.
