Research On The Changing Trend And Influencing Factors Of FDI Quality In China's Manufacturing Industry

In August 2017,China issued a clear request through the "Notice on Several Measures for Promoting Foreign Capital Growth",and fully promoted the supply-side structural reform.It must promote the combination of management,decentralization and decentralization,continuously improve service quality,and ensure China.The foreign investment environment is more convenient,which has led to an increase in the amount and quality of foreign investment.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stated that "China's economy has shifted from a highspeed growth stage to a high-quality development stage." "Quality first,efficiency first." It can be seen that China's construction of a modern economic system pays particular attention to the improvement of "quality." The competitiveness of a country is mainly reflected in the international competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the changes in the quality of foreign direct investment in China's manufacturing industry and propose corresponding policy measures.The paper takes the change trend and influencing factors of FDI in China's manufacturing industry as the research object,and mainly studies three issues.Firstly,from the two aspects of the quality of foreign investment and the quality of foreign capital utilization,the evaluation index system of manufacturing FDI quality level in different regions of China was constructed.The principal component analysis method was used to calculate the comprehensive score of FDI quality level of manufacturing industry in China from 30 provinces to cities in 2000-2016.The results show that the comprehensive average score of FDI quality of manufacturing in the eastern region has always ranked first,followed by the Northeast and Central regions(the scores of these two regions are basically equal)and the western region.From the dynamic trend of the comprehensive score of FDI quality in manufacturing industry,the quality of FDI in the eastern region has declined since 2005,and the northeast,central and western regions have shown an upward trend.The quality gap of manufacturing FDI in the four regions has been shrinking year by year.Secondly,an empirical study on the factors affecting the quality of manufacturing FDI in 30 provinces and municipalities in China is carried out by constructing the panel data model.The results show that except for the average annual wage of all employees and the manufacturing FDI comprehensive score,the other independent variables are positively correlated with the dependent variable,and the total import and export trade and the proportion of the second and third industries have an impact on the quality of manufacturing FDI.Larger.Finally,according to the characteristics of different regions,the policy recommendations for improving the quality of foreign direct investment in China's manufacturing industry are proposed from the eastern coastal areas and inland areas.
