A Study On The Benefit Of Industry Structure In Wuhan City Circle

Wuhan City Circle is very important for economical development of Hubei Province.In recent years,not only the economics of Wuhan City Circle is not good comparing with that of Shanghai City Circle,Beijing City Circle and Guangzhou City Circle,but also the economics of Wuhan City Circle has no advantage comparing with that of the City Circles in the central-west area in China.There are many reasons for the situation.One of the reasons is the fact that industry structure of Wuhan City Circle must be optimized and adjusted,it is known that the basic of optimization and adjustment is analyses on the benefit of industry structure of Wuhan City Circle,and the paper is written for the aim.Using the correlative results of scholars form China and abroad countries,the benefit of industry structure of Wuhan City Circle has been studied calculating the value of changing rate of industry structure,the changing coefficient of industry structure,the deviation degree of industry structure and contribution to the economical development.Using the official statistical data in recent years and the models of industrial structure benefits,calculating the value of the changing rate of industry structure,the changing coefficient of industry structure and the deviation degree of industry structure,the benefit of industry structure is compared between Wuhan city circle and the other area including Changzhutan city circle,the central area,the developed area nearby the sea and the whole country.The results are as follows.Firstly,the changing velocity of industry structure in Wuhan city circle is slower from 2009 to 2016 than that of Changzhutan city circle and Shanghai city,so the vigour of industry structure in Wuhan city circle has to be enhanced.Secondly,the changing coefficient of industry structure in Wuhan city circle from 2008 to 2017 shows that the tertiary industry in Wuhan city circle is the dominant industry.Finally,the deviation degree of industry structure in Wuhan city circle from 2013 to 2016 shows that the benefit of industry structure in Wuhan city circle is good averagely,but compared with the developed area nearby the sea the deviation degree of industry structure is not good enough,so the symmetry between industry structure and the structure of output value must be made.Using the traditional shift-share analysis model and the official statistical data in recent years,the industrial structure and industrial competitiveness in Wuhan city circle from 2012 to 2016 has been analyzed,in order to study the factors influencing the economical growth of the circle and find the result of industrial structure adjustment.The calculation results are as follows.Firstly,the industrial structure in Wuhan city circle is the main factor for economical growth of three industries during the research period.Secondly,except the first industry,during the research period Wuhan city circle has a stronger competitiveness in the second industry and tertiary industry in the country,meanwhile,economical growth of tertiary industry is more than that of the second industry.Finally,during the research period,Wuhan city circle has a better industrial structure in the tertiary industry,and the structure of the tertiary industry makes great positive effects to the economical growth of Wuhan city circle.However,the structure of the first industry and the second industry has no advantage and makes negative effects to the economical growth of the circle.Finally,the strategy on improving the benefit of industry structure in Wuhan City Circle has been put forward.The strategy is as follows.The first is to make the dominant industrial cluster.The second is to improve the countryside industry structure.The third is to consummate the structure and functions of Wuhan City Circle.
