Due to the economic globalization and intensifying competition between manufacturing companies,more and more manufacturing began to shift to the "servitization manufacturing".In the context of servitization,the relationship between the manufacturing company and the supplier has gradually transformed from the traditional transactional relationship to relational relationship which will make manufacturing company and suppliers into a long-term cooperation relationship.For this,it can be seen that service strategy has important influence on the buyer-supplier relationships.So far,however,researchs about the service strategy mainly focus on theoretical research,lack of empirical research,and few scholars would have focused on the relationship between the servitization and buyer-supplier relationship.Therefore,it is an important area of research that how to management buyer-supplier relationship among the servitization manufacturing company.This paper uses the manufacturing industry as the research object to explore how manufacturing service strategy influence on buyer-supplier relationship and verifies with the empirical method.First of all,this paper analyses the relationship between servitization and buyer-supplier relationship from the theory aspect based on the analysis of the literature related servitization and buyer-supplier relationship.Then this paper put forward the dimension of servitization and the buyer-supplier relationship and a conceptual model of the influence about servitization on buyer-supplier relationship.Next this paper makes questionnaire survey to related enterprises through the designed questionnaire and collects data.Finally,this paper makes deals and analysis about the collected data through empirical analysis method,and then tests the conceptual model and research hypothesis.In this paper,there are the following conclusions:(1)the servitization has significant positive influence on the five relationship connectors of the buyer-supplier relationship which are information exchange,operational linkage,legal bonds,cooperative norms and Relationship-specific adaptations;(2)there has significant differences in the five relationship connectors of buyer-supplier relationship between different types of servitization;(3)the supply market uncertainty has positive moderator effect on the relationship of servitization and four relationship connectors of buyer-supplier relationship which are information exchange,operational linkage,legal bonds,cooperative norms.However the supply market uncertainty has no moderator effect on the relationship of servitization and a relationship connector of buyer-supplier relationship which is Relationship-specific adaptations.This study not only reveals the effect of servitization on the buyer-supplier relationship,but also proved the difference between different types of servitization and buyer-supplier relationship.At the same time,by considering the factor of the external environment uncertainty,it reveals that manufacturing needs to make corresponding changes to adapt to the change of external environment.The servitization manufacturing company must match the PSS that they provide to the supply market in order to gain a competitive advantage.In addition,the research conclusion provides theoretical guidance for manufacturing industry that how to make buyer-supplier relationship management according to the servitization types that manufacturing implement.
