The rise of the sharing economy has provided a broader space for the career choice of freelancers.The tactics of discussing career choices have increasingly attracted academic attention.At present,a large number of outstanding achievements have emerged.However,most of the researches are analyzed from the perspective of traditional human resource management “personal and postal matching”—that is,from the perspective of how individual human capital matches organizational needs,and personal material capital.The impact is rarely noticed.A small number of studies focusing on personal material capital also overlook an important difference between freelancers and traditional professionals—personal material capital plays a different role in career choices—and they use life data more as a means of production.In other words,the role of personal life data in career choices is very important but has been ignored for a long time.Through the qualitative research based on the life course of several Car-hailing platform drivers,this paper finds that the Car-hailing platform drivers will comprehensively consider the total utility of personal material capital and human capital allocation,and dynamically adjust the career selection strategy.The innovations of this paper are as follows: Firstly,the strategy type model of freelance career choice represented by the Car-hailing platform driver is constructed,and a preliminary analysis framework is established for related research.Secondly,the personal material capital-living data is placed in the center of career choice strategy analysis,which partially compensates for the shortcomings of traditional research.Finally,the application of life course theory to the career choice research of human resource management expands the life course theory.The field of application has also developed research methods for human resource management.A bold attempt was made to comprehensively apply the theory of economics,sociology,and management to interdisciplinary research on human resource management.The analysis of this paper is as follows: From the concept of Marxist political economy,the strategy type of Car-hailing platform drivers' career choice is constructed.The concept of Marxist political economy mentioned that the two most important elements of productivity are the laborer and a means of production.This paper selects the nature of human capital as the dimension of laborers,and selects the nature of material capital as the dimension of production data.The nature of human capital refers to the occupational orientation of the driver,including the preference and willingness of the driver.The nature of material capital refers to the material capital of the driver.Divided into life and productivity.According to these two dimensions,the career choices of the network car drivers are divided into four types of ideal types,namely,category A: “iron rice bowl” type,high professional orientation,mainly for productive purposes;category B: “golden rice bowl” type,professionalism is high,mainly for the purpose of life;category C: "silver rice bowl" type,low occupational orientation,mainly for life purpose;D class: "breaking rice bowl" type,low occupational orientation,to produce Sexual purpose is the main.Then target sampling and interviews based on the ideal type.Then according to the life course theory and career choice theory,the career choice of Car-hailing platform driver is analyzed.Finally,the analysis framework is extended to the enterprise management and social level to discuss its applicability.The paper finally draws the following conclusions:(1)Under the constraints of the system,the career choice of Car-hailing platform driver is determined according to the different matching methods between human capital and material capital.The static choice made by the capital conditions;(2)The career choice of Car-hailing platform driver is not static,but dynamic.And because human capital is higher than the value of material capital,the law of dynamic change is to maximize the value of human capital;(3)according to Mayo's “social person” hypothesis,Car-hailing platform driver chooses to engage in this occupation,except In addition to economic compensation,part of it is to obtain social compensation;(4)Platform business model This kind of institutional innovation can make full use of idle living materials to promote the full use of human capital,and there is still room for improvement,which should be highly valued.The management recommendation is that freelancers should conduct a comprehensive assessment of their human and material capital and then find the optimal configuration to maximize their capital utility.At the same time,the means of subsistence in material capital plays an important role.Individuals should pay attention to the coordination of career management and family life management.From the perspective of career,personal optimal human capital is often not available because it is subject to its own material capital.To switch to sub-optimal human capital,companies should correctly identify the individual's optimal human capital,combine life course with background investigation,quality identification,and career matching to better understand their human capital.At the same time,in view of the fact that some professionals choose to work part-time because the organization cannot provide social compensation,the organization can be tolerant of part-time employees and try to balance the social compensation and economic compensation of employees.Finally,in view of the fact that institutional innovation can liberate human capital and material capital,organizations can learn from the network vehicle platform model and the Haier model to further optimize platform employment management.At the same time,the government can improve the employment environment and improve the overall employment environment by promoting the development of this business model.The efficiency of the utilization of human capital has increased.This paper provides a preliminary analysis framework for the study of career choice strategies for freelancers.Future researchers can modify and use this framework to analyze the career choice strategies of workers in other platform economies,and adopt new interdisciplinary theories to propose new influences.Factors and related suggestions make up for the shortcomings and shortcomings of this article that are not fully involved in other platforms and influencing factors due to time and effort.
