Marx's concept of labor is a very core concept in Marx's philosophy, and it is this concept that Marx's philosophy transcends modern metaphysics and realizes the real change in philosophy. However, this concept is not without its historical roots. This paper tries to clarify dual source of Marx's concept of labor, analyze the critical and inheritance relationship between Marx's concept of labor and its dual source. From the viewpoint of the ontology, this paper this paper reveals the comprehensive creation of Marx's labor concept to its dual sources, and elaborates how Marx derived the ideological path of object activity from the alienated labor. Then Marx took the concept of labor as the basis, revealed the inner nature of consciousness, and raised the concept of labor into the concept of practice, and realized the unification of the mind-matter dualism. However, this idea has been criticized by many philosophers.Taking Heidegger's criticism as an example, this paper carries out a "creative dialogue".Then on the basis of clarifying misinterpretations, this paper elaborates the true meaning of Marx's concept of labor,so as to reveal the existential significance of labor to human beings, and thus demonstrates the value and vitality of Marx's philosophy.
