Labor is the way of existence of human beings, and labor promotes the all-round development of human beings and the progress of human civilization.Any nation,if it stops laboring, will perish, not to mention a year, but just a few weeks.Labor emancipation is an inevitable requirement for the liberation of productive forces and for the realization of the comprehensive construction of a socialist modern state.Labor emancipation means that workers should truly become the masters of labor,so that they can create their own wealth and happiness in labor.Marx’s idea of labor emancipation is not only an important part of Marxist theory, but also an important kernel of Marx’s entire theoretical system.Based on this background, the contemporary value of Marx’s idea of labor emancipation is explored through the interpretation of Marx’s idea of labor emancipation.By adopting the methods of documentary research, historical analysis and the combination of theory and practice,a comprehensive and in-depth study is conducted on the contents of Marx’s classic works on the idea of labor emancipation. The article is divided into five parts:the first part introduces the background and significance of the study, the current situation of domestic and foreign research, research ideas and methods, and innovations, laying the foundation for the thesis research. The second part sorts out the formation and theoretical origins of Marx’s idea of labor emancipation, and digs into the theoretical background and practical basis of Marx’s idea of labor emancipation. It analyzes the specific background of the times from the perspectives of the development of the industrial revolution, the confrontation between the two classes, the development and growth of the workers and Marx’s own subjective conditions;it explores the influence of classical philosophy, political economy and the idea of labor in ideal socialism on Marx in order to analyze the motivation of the formation of Marx’s labor emancipation realization. The third part elaborates the main contents of Marx’s idea of labor emancipation, and discusses the connotation, subject, and path of labor emancipation in detail. It is concluded that labor is emancipated from nature, society and human beings themselves:the proletariat is the main force of labor emancipation, and the emancipation of labor is achieved by raising the productive forces of labor, eliminating capitalist private ownership and establishing a free association of people. The fourth part discusses the contemporary value of Marx’s idea of labor emancipation. It focuses on the following five dimensions:namely,it is conducive to creating a good social life, promoting the comprehensive development of workers, building harmonious labor relations, properly coping with the challenges of artificial intelligence, and building a community of destiny for the emancipation of labor. The fifth part summarizes the main research results of the article. At present, labor emancipation is not only an important theoretical task, but also a major practical issue. At present,China is in the primary stage of socialism, and due to the imperfect social distribution system and unreasonable industrial structure, such problems as labor-management conflicts, whether labor relations are harmonious, and whether workers are free and fully developed still exist, and the task of labor emancipation is still a long way off. Therefore, studying Marx’s idea of labor emancipation is not only an inherent requirement for studying Marxism, but also a practical need to solve the existing problems in the labor field.
