Under the current consumption environment of experience economy,China's tourism industry has entered an image-driven stage.The distinctive and good tourism image has become a key factor in attracting tourists.It is also an important means for tourism destinations to adapt to the fierce market competition.Lanzhou has a rich variety of tourism resources and profound historical and cultural heritage.It is also an important comprehensive transportation hub in the northwest region and a node city of the Silk Road.Tourism is developing well.In recent years,relevant departments have vigorously shape and publicize the tourism image of Lanzhou City.However,they only consider Lanzhou's own tourism development conditions,but lack the understanding of the tourists' actual perception of tourism image.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the tourism spatial characteristics and tourism image perception of Lanzhou from the perspective of tourism demand,so as to provide reference for further promoting the development of tourism in Lanzhou.The rapid development of the Internet has provided a new direction for the study of tourism.This paper determines the five brand websites of Ctrip,Qunar,Tuniu,Tongcheng Travel,and Mafengwo as the data source,and screens 236 pieces of travel text.The spatial analysis method,content analysis method,affective analysis method and technical methods such as ArcGIS10.2,Ucinet and ROST CM6 were integrated to discuss the tourists' perception of Lanzhou tourism from the two aspects of tourism space and image cognition.And this paper puts forward suggestions for promoting the development of tourism in Lanzhou.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of tourism space,tourists' perception range of tourism in Lanzhou is relatively small,forming the main structure that takes Zhongshan Bridge-Zhangye Road as the core and extends along the Yellow River and South Riverside Road.The difference of perceived intensity is significant.The areas with high perceived intensity are mainly along the Yellow River and near the Zhongshan bridge.The scenic spots visited by tourists does not match the current situation of tourism resources in Lanzhou in spatial distribution.The number of scenic spots visited by tourists in each district and county is less than the number of resources owned by themselves,especially in Chengguan district and Yongdeng county.There are close connections among the main tourism nodes in Lanzhou,within the condensed sub-groups and among the sub-groups.However,the distribution of tourism flow network is unbalanced,the degree of centralization is high,and the structure of tourism flow network is obviously stratified.(2)In terms of cognitive image,tourists' perception of Lanzhou's tourism image can be divided into 4 main categories and 13 sub-categories.Among them,the human landscape and food are the main content of tourists' perception.The tourists' perception of the human landscape is better.The main perceived attractions are Zhongshan Bridge,Gansu Provincial Museum,Baitashan Park,Yellow River Mother Statue,Waterwheel Expo Park,Small West Lake.Tourists' perception of food is mainly beef noodles and Lanzhou's specialty snacks.Visitor perception is greatly influenced by local characteristics and popularity.(3)In terms of emotional factors,tourists' perception of Lanzhou's tourism image is dominated by positive emotions with strong emotions,while tourists' negative emotions account for a small proportion with general emotional intensity.Food,scenic spots and the rhythm of leisure life are the main positive perception factors for tourists,while traffic and urban environment are the main negative perception factors for tourists.Some tourists also have a bad experience with Lanzhou's food,attractions and entertainment.(4)Based on the above analysis results of tourism space and image cognition in Lanzhou,this paper puts forward suggestions on tourism development in Lanzhou: strengthening urban tourism construction and forming brand characteristics;integrating tourism resources in surrounding districts and counties and enhancing competitiveness;Create a diversified tourism product structure;attach importance to tourism image publicity and marketing;strengthen the comprehensive management of urban tourism environment.
