| China manufacturing industry is becoming increasingly competitive and cost pressures are rising.In addition,with the rapid development of science and technology,the demand for product personalization is increasing.At the same time,the demand for high mix low volume products manufacturing is increasing rapidly.How to improve the productivity of high mix low volume products,which are facing high pressure of cost.It has become an urgent problem for the practitioner of manufacturing industry.Flex Shenzhen,which I am working for,is a factory in Shenzhen under Flex Group.It is engaged in manufacturing of electronic products such as consumption,industry,new energy and artificial intelligence equipment.Half of the products are high mix low volume products.This thesis analyzes the low productivity of high mix low volume production lines of Flex Shenzhen and compares the characteristics of high mix low volume products with the theory of productprocess matrix.The productivity measurement theory is used to measure the productivity of this type of product line,and the PDCA cycle theory is used to identify different items which are affecting the productivity.The data also show overall equipment efficiency(OEE)of surface mounting production line,and line utilization of wave soldering production line and assembly production line.Combining with lean production theory,this thesis analyzes the whole process data by using Value Stream Map tool and identifies the wastes in production by seven waste tools.Base on production and operation data,the overall equipment efficiency(OEE)of surface mounting production line equipment is improved by using the theory of fast changeover,the line utilization of wave soldering production line is improved by using standard work tools,and the line utilization of assembly line is also improved.This thesis combines PDCA cycle theory with lean production theory and establishes the mechanism of continuous improvement of high mix low volume productivity,which makes the improvement of productivity closely combined with continuous improvement.In the process of implementing the action plan,from the perspective of organizational implementation,to make appropriate adjustments to the organization chart,so that the implementation of the whole action plan can be smoothly achieved.From the effect of the implementation of the solution,the overall equipment efficiency(OEE)of equipment in SMT production line is increased by 90%,the line utilization of wave soldering production line is increased by 65%,and the direct labor cost of assembly production line is increased by 20%.The lean production theory can improve the productivity of high mix low volume production lines. |
