Study On International Competitiveness Of Jilin Province's Trade In Services

From 1985 to 2019,China's service trade developed rapidly,and the growth rate of service trade import was 16.6%,more than twice that of the world average level,which drove the growth rate of world service trade import by 11.8% on average.In the past five years,the average annual growth rate of world service trade import was only 3%,while the average annual growth rate of China's service trade import was as high as 10.7%.China contributed 25.8% to the growth of world service trade import,contributing 4.2 percentage points to the growth of world service trade import.At present,China is the largest contributor to the growth of world service trade imports.The import and export of service trade in jilin province is influenced by the development of the world and China's service trade.From 2006 to 2018,the import and export volume of jilin's service trade surged from $722 million to $5.342 billion,a nearly eight-fold increase in nine years.Although the overall service trade in jilin province is growing rapidly,the service trade deficit in jilin province is also increasing year by year,and gradually appears to be expanding "scissors mouth".Based on this background,in-depth study of jilin province's trade in services,from the current situation of the development to explore the situation of its international competitiveness,and by what factors,for the ease of jilin province and China's service trade developed provinces,the gap between the developed countries of world trade in services,and reduce its service import and export of jilin province deficit is of great significance.The main contents of this paper are as follows: Firstly,according to relevant literature and books,the concepts of service industry,service trade,international competitiveness and international competitiveness of service trade are defined;secondly,by elaborating the relevant theories of service trade,the indicators of service trade competitiveness measurement and the research status in this field at home and abroad,the theory needed for this study is paved.Thirdly,according to the current situation of Jilin Province's import and export of service trade,the international competitiveness of Jilin Province's service trade is measured and analyzed by three indicators,namely,international market share,trade competitiveness index and indicative comparative advantage index,to find out the gap between the level of per capita service trade of China's developed provinces and the developed countries in the world.Fourthly,according to the famous economist Michael Porter's "diamond model" to study the factors affecting the international competitiveness of Jilin Province's service trade;finally,according to the conclusions of qualitative analysis and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions to enhance the international competitiveness of Jilin Province's service trade.This article through to the jilin province during 1999-2017 service trade related data analysis,found that the urbanization level of population structure quality of jilin province,jilin province,jilin province's per capita GDP,trade in goods exports of jilin province and jilin province service trade market openness and the promotion of the international competitiveness of service trade of jilin province were positively correlated.Therefore,this article proposed that: to enhance the international competitiveness of service trade of jilin province,to take further open services markets,increase the service industry in jilin province of jilin province human capital investment,improve staff quality,strengthen the coordinated development of service trade and things,in the province to further expand the jilin province market demand and reasonable use of FDI in service industry in the province and other measures.
