As a green and efficient mode of transportation,multimodal transportation effectively meets the diversified demand of current freight transportation,and has developed rapidly in the world.In recent years,in order to deepen the supply-side structural reform of the transportation and promote the logistics industry to reduce costs and increase efficiency,the Chinese government has successively issued a number of policies to promote the development of multimodal transport.Multimodal transport has risen to a national strategy and entered a period of rapid development.With the continuous implementation of relevant policies,the construction of comprehensive transportation system has been continuously improved,laying a solid foundation for the development of multimodal transport.In order to more effectively utilize the transportation resources provided by multimodal transport,meet the diversified transportation demand of cargo owners,and promote the efficient circulation of goods,it is urgent to strengthen research on the level of multimodal transport operation planning.Multimodal transport operator is the core decision maker of multimodal transport operations,and multimodal transport route planning is its core business.Therefore,scientific and rational route planning is essential to ensure the efficiency of multimodal transport operations.So,this paper studied the optimization of multimodal transport route of general container cargo from the perspective of multimodal transport operator.Firstly,on the basis of analyzing the multimodal transport participants and business processes,the composition of multimodal transport networks,the characteristics of transport services and the diversified demand of cargo owners.A route planning example is designed in this paper.It shows that multimodal transport operator faces diversification requirements of cargo owner,multi-modal transport services,collection time window constraints of transit nodes,transit periods constraints,transport capacity constraints,multi-commodity flow route planning and other actualities.It also explains that it is necessary to optimize the departure time under the delivery date.Secondly,considering the diversified demand of cargo owners,the time window of railway and waterway transit nodes and the transit periods,the route optimization model for multimodal transport of general containers is established from the perspective of multimodal transport operators,with the objective of minimizing the multiple orders' total cost which includes transportation costs,transit costs,storage costs,retention costs,delay costs,and carbon emissions costs throughout the transportation process,constrained by the transport capacity of multimodal transport network,and taking the departure time as one of the decision variables.Then,based on the solution characteristics of the optimization model,Utilize the advantages of AnyLogic simulation platform in data storage and management,process modeling,GIS services and visual simulation,etc.,a multimodal transportation simulation model is established,which can simulate the multimodal transport processes,solve all transport plans and the optimal plan of a single order.Based on the calculation result of simulation model,the multimodal transport route dynamic programming algorithm is designed to solve the optimal transport plan under multiple order combinations.Finally,taking a multimodal transport operator as an example,through planning transportation routes for multiple orders in Shenyang,the applicability of the optimization model and the feasibility of the algorithm are illustrated,and some strategy of reducing the total cost of multimodal transport is proposed.The case study proves that the optimization model proposed in this paper can provide decision support for multimodal transport operator to plan transportation routes.
