With the in-depth promotion of “Internet + medical health” by the national policy and the pharmaceutical e-commerce industry booming, the development of pharmaceutical logistics can't be ignored. In recent years, the eruption of e-commerce has greatly promoted the growth of third-party logistics in China. Therefore, choosing third-party carriers to focus on core competitiveness is a good choice for medical e-commerce.So how to choose carriers rationally is an important problem for the medical e-commerce.Based on the medical e-commerce company A,this paper briefly introduces the typical business operation mode of the medical e-commerce platform, and finally focuses on matching of pharmaceutical e-commerce orders and carriers. In practice,Company A randomly selects the carrier while meeting the basic delivery time requirements, leading to higher delivery costs. So,this paper proposes two improved models to reduce costs: The first is a carrier selection model based on delivery time and cost, which is simple and easy to operate.Using the actual data, the numerical experiment shows that, compared with the actual random selection, this solution reduce the cost by 4.11% and increase the delivery time by 8.18% under the time requirement of 72 hours while reducing the cost by 1.31% and increasing the delivery time by 0.46% under the time requirement of 72 hours. It can be seen that the first method can reduce the cost while the delivery time increasing. The second is the regional pre-segment carrier selection model considering the segment quantity discount.Numerical experiment shows that, compared with the actual random selection, this method can reduce the distribution cost by 24.61% and reduce the delivery aging time by 10.99% under the time requirement of 72 hours. It can be seen that the second method can simultaneously reduce costs and reduce distribution.
