Case Study On The Internet Medical Ecosystem Of A Company

The Government Work Report 2015 brought forward that we should propel the development of “Internet plus”,which represents a new economic form comprising of big data,cloud computing and all Internet ecosystems of various industries.In developed countries,the commercial health insurance,which is the fastest one in developing speed and the largest one in scale among all insurance products,has become one of the two important pillars of the social medical payment system,with the other one being the social insurance.Through a case study of A Company,this thesis is to observe the status of the Internet medical service and find out the problems existing in both the Internet medical service and the development of the Internet medical ecosystem.By analyzing those problems,this thesis raises a theory,strategies and feasible proposals of Internet medical ecosystem construction.The methodology adopted includes document analysis,comparative analysis and case study.Based on the PEST theory and Porter's theory,this thesis discusses that supported by China's preferential tax of business health insurance,A Company's health insurance business has become the “insurance” of the Internet medical ecosystem,levering the development of the whole medical ecosystem.Thus the thesis finds that the Internet medical ecosystem should consist of 6 elements and 3 aspects.The 6 elements constitute the inside track of the ecosystem,including medical service providers,insurance,medicine,3nd party institutions,payment platforms,and big data & cloud computing.The outside track of the ecosystem is composed of 3 aspects including“the support from and the supervision of the national laws and regulations,the trend and development of WIT120(which means Wise Information Technology of 120),and the Internet plus infinity pattern with the Internet connecting everything and the world”.The combination of both tracks will become a new business model of Internet+ medical service that will ultimately promote the construction and development of the Internet medical ecosystem.
