Research On Property Insurance Companies' Corporate Governance Index

The corporate governance is a result of modern enterprise development,what is also the core content of our country to promote reform of insurance companies currently.The corporate governance constantly improve the governance structure,which is beneficial to prevent the operation risk fundamentally.There is no evaluation system based on different kinds of risks at present,therefore,to establish a comprehensive,accurate and scientific evaluation systems would have a realistic meaning for the improvement of the governance structure of Chinese property insurance company.This thesis is based on the perspective of a third party,we drew on the existing corporate governance system at home and abroad,referring to relevant policy documents issued by the state council and the insurance regulatory commission,establishing the management system of property insurance companies with seven dimensions of management including ownership and general meeting of shareholders,board of directors,board of supervisors,managers,information disclosure,stakeholder and governance and management compatibility.The corporate governance index number is a barometer for the condition of corporate governance.Then based on this system,we combined Amex analytic hierarchy process and Expert Investigation Method to determine the weight of each dimension,and compounded the index model of property insurance company.Finally,we came to the conclusion,taking the data of the annual governance of China's property insurance companies as samples,calculating our country property insurance company management index,also analyzing the current situation of financial insurance governance.It is concluded that the difference in governance effect between Chinese and foreign insurance companies,the poor governance level of the subsidiaries of insurance group companies,and the lack of autonomy in governance structure,etc.Meanwhile,we put forward relevant proposals from the perspective of insurance and regulators: The property insurance company promotes governance autonomy;Property insurance company management should consider the match of management and management adequately;Strengthen management of subsidiaries of insurance groups;Regulating the organization of corporation of the Foreign Insurance Companies.
