Research On Operational Risk Management Of YK Branch Of Postal Savings Bank

The operational risk of the bank runs through the whole history of the banking industry.But in the past,people have focused on market risk and credit risk,but the operational risk has not been discussed too much.Each bank has formulated a variety of measures and requirements to control credit and market risk.Over the years,people have come to realize the importance of operational risk because of the increasing losses caused by operational risk.In the new capital agreement of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision,The operational risk of commercial banks has been listed as one of the three major risks,which has become the focus of the bank.But compare the other two risks,business.The bank operation risk research starts late,the related achievement is scarce.Thus the banking industry began to focus on the study of operational risk.According to the policies formulated by the Basel Association,China’s banking industry continues to improve its own operational risk management system according to its own characteristics and changes in operating modes and operational risks.Help it to more effective management and prevention of operational risks.This paper chooses YK Branch of Postal savings Bank as the research object,analyzes the present situation and causes of operational risk of YK Branch of Postal savings Bank,and then comes up with the countermeasures to perfect the operational risk of YK Branch of Postal savings Bank.The research ideas of this paper are as follows:firstly,through the summary of the previous literature,the related concepts and theories of operational risk of commercial banks are briefly explained;Secondly,from the current management system of the bank and 172 operational risk events in 2014-2017,this paper explains the current situation of operational risk management in the past few days,so as to find out the causes of the problems in the operational risk management of the bank.It mainly includes:lack of culture of operational risk management,unreasonable training of talents,backwardness of operational risk management method and defects of internal control system;Thirdly,to improve the operational risk management of YK branch of Postal savings Bank Supply countermeasures is also the focus of this paper,from strengthening the construction of operational risk management culture,strengthening staff management,improving operational risk management methods,improving internal control system four aspects to improve and control;Finally,the conclusion and prospect of this paper are summarized.At the same time,some personal prospects for the operational risk management of domestic commercial banks are presented.The innovation of this paper is as follows:on the one hand,through the statistical analysis of the 172 operational risk events collected from the YK branch of the Postal savings Bank from 2014 to 2017,we can directly and accurately reflect the high operational risk occurrence area of the YK branch of the Postal savings Bank.It can provide practical solutions for YK Branch of Postal savings Bank to perfect its operational risk management.On the other hand,it can enrich the operational risk research of commercial banks in our country,and provide some reference for other commercial banks in the aspect of operational risk management.
